Room for comics is a vibrant comics & cartoon-art studio based in Macclesfield. They are coming to Leek for our festival! They are dedicated to supporting creativity, imagination & confidence through drawing workshops with NO rules & ZERO restrictions!

Join Matt with exciting storytelling, an intriguing look through Matt’s own artwork and inspiration followed by an engaging child-led activity based on story and character development. Art workshops include making anything from books, character masks, cards and group collages.

Staffordshire-based author and publisher of beautifully illustrated picture books that children will want to read over and over again. If you'd like to hear an interview on local radio you can do so on the Moorlands Radio website. We chat about Nana Duck, Rescue Me and writing in general.

​Unleash your child’s creativity with this unique and engaging draw-your-own picture book. The story is already written, but the magic lies in your little one bringing it to life with their own illustrations!

Gary Fyles, the Director of ThinkingBigger Ltd, a primary teacher and leader of over twenty years, is a published children’s author (Bumblebee, ThinkingBigger) and illustrator and a growth mindset coach.

Charlotte Rowley will be running a poetry workshop at our festival suitable for ages 7 - 11 years old.
