​Angela Marie James

Angela Marie James is a multi-genre author of stories and poems for both children and adults. She is also a performance poet and storyteller.

She has performed her work over the last few years in schools, nurseries, colleges, libraries, museums, clubs and at community events. After being asked on many occasions where people can buy her work, she is now in the process of publishing her first set of books.

Her debut book ‘Conflict’ is the first in the ‘Conflict Poetry Book’ series covering a wide range of issues such as war, inequality, poverty, environmental issues, illness, mental health, abuse, etc. The second in the series ‘Lest We Forget’ will focus on War Poetry (due out in 2023).

Her next series will be a set of children’s poetry books titled: ‘I Don’t Want To’. The first in the series - ‘I Don’t Want to Go to Bed’ will be out in 2023.

She has lots of other children’s books in the pipeline, including a thriller series and animal stories and poems. As well as working on a series of books for adults.
